2 days ago we carried out classes about ecology and nature with fifth and sixth graders from an elementary school in Nowogród Bobrzański. We told them about our Quarry Life Award project, wildlife of post-excavation sites and about herpetofauna of their neighborhood. Our programme included solving riddles about nature, individual observation of water invertebrates and using "Seek by iNaturalist". This mobile app utilises artificial intelligence that analyses input from devices' camera to recognize species. It allowed kids to recognize species of plants and animals on their owns and to learn about them. The classes were realized in a warm atmosphere and we are all happy about them.
